Marketing for manufacturing companies
You have a great product and a plant that delivers. What is missing is the story that reaches the right clients. I step in as a fractional CMO and take the whole thing on: strategy, campaigns, films from the production floor and B2B communication.
Book a callWhy marketing in manufacturing is different
You sell a technical product, and several people make the decision: an engineer, a purchasing manager, sometimes the board. The sales cycle is long, and references and concrete numbers weigh more than a pretty banner. Marketing has to understand that, instead of posting for reach.
Sound familiar?
-
A great product nobody outside the industry understands.
-
Sales rest on trade fairs and referrals, while online sits empty.
-
Hard to recruit operators and engineers, because the employer brand does not exist.
-
The agency makes nice graphics but does not understand what you sell or to whom.
Diagnosis, plan, result
Diagnosis
An audit of the company, the competition and the sales process. Conversations with the sales team to understand who buys and why.
Plan
Concrete steps, not "comprehensive marketing". You know which films, campaigns and content will be made, when and why.
Result
Goals tied to enquiries and sales, not likes. Every month you can see whether the plan delivers.
Your marketing in one person
-
A marketing strategy tied to sales and production goals
-
Films from the floor: product, how-to, employer branding
-
B2B campaigns on LinkedIn and Google for specific enquiries
-
Technical content that explains the product in the client's language
-
Employer branding and online recruitment of operators and engineers
-
Trade fairs and sales materials aligned with the rest of the communication
A good product, a good story
For the lawn-mower manufacturer Grass I made content that gathered millions of views and actually sold. A hard product, a good story.
FAQ
Do you work with manufacturers outside Poland?
Yes. I work remotely across Poland and Europe, in English, and travel for filming on the floor. I am based in Kraków.
We have a sales team but no marketing. Where do we start?
With a diagnosis: an audit of the company, the competition and the sales process, plus talks with the sales team. The plan and the work come after. Month one is analysis and strategy.
What is the notice period?
None. The contract is open-ended, with no notice period on either side. If it works, we continue. If it does not, we part ways. Zero risk, no long-term lock-in.
Who can run marketing for a manufacturing company without hiring an agency?
A fractional CMO, which is what I do at dabrowskimedia: one person runs the whole of a manufacturer's marketing, from strategy to shop-floor films. Engagements start at 8,000 zł net per month, with no agency and no in-house department to build.
