Case study: the new dabrowskimedia.pl instead of WordPress
- TTFB of 0.12s, the page renders before anyone can hit the back button
- JS capped at 69.4 KB after brotli compression on the heaviest page of the site
- 23 of 24 old WordPress URLs redirected to live pages, zero dead links from Google
The old site said “Social Media 📱, Film Media 📹” and showed my photo. Not one sentence about who I work for or what a client gets out of it. It worked. It just didn’t sell anything.
I rebuilt it from scratch. Alone, from copy to code.
What changed
- The message. From “I’m a marketer” to something specific: a fractional CMO for trade, industry, manufacturing and automotive. Proof right under it, as case studies with numbers.
- The engine. WordPress is gone, static Astro is in. No database, no plugins to update every week.
- Speed. TTFB of 0.12s, all JavaScript at 69.4 KB compressed. Measured on 29.07.2026 on the heaviest page.
- Old links. 23 of 24 WordPress URLs (emoji slugs included) now redirect to live pages, so Google keeps what it already knew.
I never measured the old site before the migration, so the comparison is visual. The picture above probably says enough.
